The project consists of the design and construction of approximately 92,000 square feet of tenant improvement work on four floors of an existing building. Two of the floors were built out as office space, and the remaining two floors were built out as shared office and lab space. Lab spaces include Research and Development labs, and a clean work environment meeting Class 100,000/ISO 8 requirements. Specialty areas of the project include a Multipurpose Room, a large employee break/lunch room, and multiple impromptu collaborative spaces and rooms.
Hughes Marino has been instrumental in managing the budget and schedule, as well as coordination of the estimating, design, construction and move-in phases.
Hughes Marino provided construction management services including management of the entire vendor selection process; design, and construction process; establishment and monitoring the project schedule; establishment and monitoring of the project budget; change order review and negotiations as well as monitoring of RFIs, submittals and oversight of the Landlord’s general contractor selection.
