Hughes Marino

About

Jack Pruden is a vice president at Hughes Marino, a global corporate real estate advisory firm that specializes in representing tenants and buyers. Based in the firm’s Raleigh-Durham office, Jack draws on his background spanning commercial real estate and finance to guide companies throughout the Triangle and across the country, supported by Hughes Marino’s advisory and construction management teams, as well as its lease auditing and administration team.

Prior to joining Hughes Marino, Jack worked as a commercial real estate advisor at TradeMark Properties and CityPlat, where he represented both landlords and tenants. Seeing transactions from both sides of the table gave him a clear understanding of how landlords negotiate and why tenants and buyers are best served by an advocate whose only interest is theirs. He now brings that perspective to every negotiation on his clients’ behalf.

Jack’s career began in finance, first as a financial advisor at Northwestern Mutual and later as an analyst in capital markets and advisory at Credit Suisse. That foundation in financial analysis and long-term planning helps him evaluate the true cost of a lease or purchase and align each real estate decision with his clients’ broader business goals. Outside of work, Jack loves spending time with his wife and their two kids. He also enjoys staying active, whether on the basketball court, on the golf course with friends or out surfing.
