Senior Vice President
Greg Olson is a senior vice president with Hughes Marino, a renowned, commercial real estate company that exclusively represents corporate tenants in lease and purchase transactions. Greg comes to the firm’s Orange County office with a unique advantage in commercial real estate brokerage due to his knowledge and previous experience in acquisition, entitlement, development, and construction.
After graduating from the University of Southern California with a degree in business administration, Greg immediately went to work as a broker in Orange County, but was quickly recruited to join a startup real estate development firm. Several years later Greg became a project manager for a commercial electrical subcontracting firm where he managed several million dollars in hospital, university, office TI’s and other large commercial accounts over a period of five years.
His diverse real estate experience, coupled with his enthusiasm to build lasting relationships based on trust, led Greg back to brokerage in 2014. Greg prides himself on delivering outstanding service to his clients, and is intensely dedicated through every phase of a project from strategic planning to site selection, on through financial analysis, negotiation, and execution. Greg’s clients appreciate his attentiveness and ability to make the process enjoyable while always exceeding expectations.
Greg resides with his wife, Tara, and two boys, Arthur and Louie, a block away from Newport Harbor High School, where Greg and Tara’s adventure began as high school sweethearts. They remain closely tied to the school thanks to Tara, who coaches the dance team there.
When Greg isn’t with his wife and boys, you can find him fishing on the ocean, hunting in Mexico, or competing out on the tennis court. He and Tara are also members of Grace Fellowship Church in Costa Mesa.
