Last night the rankings were announced for Puget Sound Business Journal’s Best Workplaces in Washington and we are ecstatic that Hughes Marino was named the #1 Workplace in the Small Business category! Our very own Owen Rice attended the event at Seattle Mariners’ Safeco Field and happily accepted our award (and personalized Mariner’s jersey!) on behalf of our company in front of representatives from the State’s Top 100 Workplaces. To say we are ecstatic is an understatement–we are so proud of all that our Seattle office has accomplished in the past year. To top our successes off with being named the Best Workplace in the state is definitely the cherry on top of a truly amazing journey in Seattle!
We are proud to serve companies across Washington, so many of whom are also dedicated to creating outstanding workplaces for their teams that have made this state what it is today. From Fortune 500 companies to small startups, we believe that Washington state, especially the booming region of the Puget Sound, is a perfect spot for businesses to thrive, and we are proud to assist many of these companies in finding the perfect space to do so!
We could not have achieved this tremendous accolade without our amazing team and our fearless leaders in our Seattle office. When Owen Rice and Gavin Curtis first came to us to propose opening an office in Seattle, we could have never imagined the success we could accomplish in this major business hub! Since then, we have cultivated an amazing team, who are dedicated to our Core Values and are committed to upholding our unique company culture. Hands-down, the unique and sincerely loving and supportive atmosphere at our company is definitely what makes Hughes Marino such an amazing place to come to work at every day. It is truly special, and we can confidently say that any team member would agree!
Jason and I are dedicated to the happiness of each team member, and have fostered a culture of teamwork, collaboration and excellence where everyone embodies our cherished Core Values that bind us together like family. The love we share for each other is one of the many reasons why our team truly loves what they do and loves coming to work every day. We are not simply coworkers, but a family who all strive toward a common goal, to help each other succeed in every way possible.
Our welcoming Seattle office has also played a major role in the success of our team. Located on the 25th story of the Russell Investments Center, it’s impossible not to be mesmerized by the breathtaking views of the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains. To make sure everyone feels welcome and right at home in our Seattle space, our office comes complete with a gourmet kitchen stocked with weekly grocery deliveries, as well as living room and game room for team members to enjoy. With vibrant, plush furniture, playful décor, and eye-catching art at every turn, it’s impossible not to be inspired!
While we have offices across the country, our teammates connect on a daily basis and sustain the family spirit across the miles. We all support one another and consider each other an extension of our own family. From our monthly birthday celebrations, to fun Friday theme days, to inspiring team meetings, we enjoy the journey together whenever possible!
