Matt Geist is a senior vice president at Hughes Marino, a global corporate real estate advisory firm that exclusively represents tenants and buyers, where he represents clients in their leasing and space acquisitions. Based out of the firm’s East Bay office, Matt specializes in assisting companies develop a real estate strategy that can help them achieve both their short and long-term business goals. Matt has developed an expertise in applying financial structure to leasing projects to improve the real estate’s impact on his tenant clients’ corporate financial statements.

Matt began his real estate career in Seattle, WA, where he represented industrial tenants in the Greater Puget Sound region, before returning to the Bay Area where he grew up in nearby Alamo. Matt brings a deep understanding and expertise of the expansive East Bay commercial real estate market to his clients, where he serves both office and industrial tenants with all of their commercial real estate needs.

Matt lives in Lafayette with his wife, daughter, and their French bulldog. When Matt is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his little girl, four nephews, reading and going for long mountain bike rides all around the East Bay.
