High Rise, High Glam
Inside Hughes Marino’s
West Los Angeles Office
At Home in West Los Angeles
Welcome to our West Los Angeles home. Located at the Westwood Gateway where the 405 meets Santa Monica Boulevard, our West LA space enjoys panoramic city views that extend from Rancho Palos Verdes to the Pacific Ocean. Although it’s located on the eighth floor of a high-rise, the office incorporates home-like elements adopted from our San Diego and Orange County locations. The distressed, wide plank wood floors, marble kitchen counters, framed photos of team members’ families on the walls, and fun mix of eclectic furniture create a home away from home for our team members.
Unlike most break rooms that are tucked away, a gourmet kitchen and two tables take center stage — one bar height table perfect for pulling up with a cup of coffee, and one that doubles as a lunch table or additional touch point to host a meeting. “We imagined a place where the team can sit and gather for impromptu meetings,” says Shay. Gourmet coffee machines, fresh flowers and groceries delivered weekly make this seem more like a kitchen in a friend’s home. Bowls of candy and fresh fruit satisfy whatever mid-afternoon cravings anyone may have.
It’s all about looking at the big picture and making sure we have the happiest team members possible. We hope to show our clients that by rethinking their workspaces, they can also reimagine their culture.

It’s in the Details
One of the first things you will notice about our office is the vibrant collection of art, including several works by artists also featured at our other locations. Our collection includes pieces by Gary Polonsky, Neil Shigley, Robert Mars, Anja Van Herle and custom furniture by Rachel Ashwell. Shopping for art to inspire our team and dress up the spaces has become a top priority for Shay and Jason, and one of their most enjoyable tasks when designing new offices.
Because we know that happy and healthy team members are also more productive, a vintage ‘80s-style arcade game machine, complete with Ms. Pac-Man and 60 other games allows our team members to unwind and bond over competitive play. There’s also a gym onsite for a quick lunchtime workout, an outdoor koi pond, and a refreshing outdoor seating area where team members can soak up some sunshine. We invite you to visit and enjoy our newest home away from home!
The blues and pinks of the décor are inspired by the art and reflect the proximity to the sparkling Pacific Ocean and creative energy of Los Angeles.
