About
Mike Paleo is a managing director at Hughes Marino, a global corporate real estate advisory firm that specializes in representing tenants and buyers. Based in the firm’s Orange County office, Mike’s primary focus is on advising office and industrial occupiers who lease or own their facility.
Mike studied business economics at the University of California Santa Barbara, where he also led the largest student run organization on campus. He began his career in project management at Howard Building Corporation, a leader of commercial interior construction, before transitioning to solely representing tenants in their lease and purchase negotiations at Savills and TenantBase.
Throughout Mike’s twelve years of commercial real estate experience, he has managed high-end tenant improvement projects, executed large national portfolio requirements and advised entrepreneurs in organically growing their businesses from their garage to perfectly tailored commercial facilities to support their growing business. Mike routinely draws on his unique construction management background, strong interpersonal skills and long-standing community relationships to achieve superior results for his clients, large or small.
Mike’s tenant-focused approach has cultivated a diverse client list that includes technology entrepreneurs, homebuilders, and e-commerce titans, as well as legal, finance and professional service firms.
An Orange County native, Mike lives in Huntington Beach with his wife Lauren and two young daughters. In his free time, you can find him traveling, exploring the outdoors with friends, golfing or at the beach building sandcastles with his daughters.
