Seattle’s premier general contractor, Schuchart’s ground floor space in a residential tower focused on green-living is a highly collaborative, innovative and energetic space. The interior is sleek and modern, and was even awarded the top commercial space of the year in 2014 by NAIOP.
Built in a space that previously housed a restaurant, the suite is filled with natural light and features an open office concept with many smaller breakout rooms that help to increase work efficiency and team unity. On the western entrance of the suite, the floor completely opens up to an expansive garden terrace with seating open to all tenants in the high-rise. It’s the perfect spot to get some fresh air and take in the views of Downtown Seattle!
The finishes include a balanced mix of carpet and polished concrete with raw-concrete columns and custom casework in the kitchen, workroom and conference rooms. A reclaimed-wood entry ramp greets visitors as they enter the building that provides a rustic, yet modern vibe. Throughout the office, Schuchart installed a fully integrated lighting and shade control system with shadow sensors that monitor exterior light levels to help optimize interior lighting. The original HVAC system from the previous restaurant was renovated, and much of the existing lighting was refitted with energy efficient components.
With offices in Bellevue, Everett and Tacoma, the executive team wanted to ensure that their Seattle office would be an inviting, warm and centrally located space within the heart of downtown. On any given week, the Schuchart team is hosting various community events in their office, further increasing the alliance and participation amongst Seattle’s largest architecture, design, brokerage and construction firms.
Schuchart has consistently been ranked one of the top general contractors in Seattle according to the Puget Sound Business Journal, and their office certainly showcases it! Congratulations, Schuchart! Without a doubt, you’ve successfully cultivated a high-end, creative space that promotes your culture while creating a positive environment for your team to reach new levels of success!
