Description
Marsh & McLennan was looking for a solution that could be transformative to their culture and that they could use to engage the broader local business community. Also, supporting their ongoing growth was critical. After an extensive market evaluation and negotiations process, Hughes Marino represented Marsh & McLennan in a new 27,000 square foot lease, which allowed the firm to build out new space from a shell to transform their branding and workplace environment. A tenant improvement allowance that covered all of the tenant improvements and free rent that covered all of the moving expenses were negotiated. Hughes Marino also managed the entire project including engaging of architects and contractors and the management thereof bringing the project in on time and on budget.
Added Value
Working with the Hughes Marino brokerage team, Hughes Marino’s project management team helped identify the project site, budget and timeline, in addition to playing an integral role throughout the lease and work letter negotiation. With Marsh & McLennan having 18 months left on their lease in an 18,000 square foot space, the multiphase project was completed on time and on budget.
