Description
The project consisted of design and construction of the new 6,000 square foot ground-up bank branch. Key elements include the high-end finishes and millwork, vaulted ceilings, arching exterior windows, full service teller lines, break room, and safe deposit box vault. This cornerstone project was part of the overall Palomar Commons development which required constant coordination with the off site traffic signal installation, and underground utilities’ connections both of which needed to be completed prior to the branch’s grand opening.
Added Value
Hughes Marino successfully coordinated the project’s sensitive schedule with the adjacent Palomar Commons development schedule as well as the off site traffic signal installation that needed to be completed prior to the bank’s grand opening. Ultimately, Hughes Marino delivered the first-of-its kind California Bank & Trust branch on time and roughly $400,000 under budget.
Service Provided
Hughes Marino worked alongside key California Bank & Trust personnel over the course of two years to provide project management service from the initial site selection, due diligence, design and permit through selection of a general contractor, continuous project pricing and change order review, and construction activity management.
