Description

Since 2010, Hughes Marino has served as California Bank & Trust’s advisory team for all aspects of their commercial real estate needs. Our brokerage team has been essential in the leasing, buying and building of many California Bank & Trust’s branches including relocations, renewals, expansions and strategic initiatives. Our portfolio lease administration, audit and advisory team has been instrumental in reducing risk, saving resources and avoiding costly oversights. Our program, project and construction management team has overseen the completion of over a dozen California Bank & Trust construction projects ranging in size, uniqueness and type. Each construction project requires sophisticated corporate office details—from the millwork lining the
walls of their beautiful conference rooms to the stone tile flooring that meets the soft-toned carpet. The expansive glass office fronts offer a combination of better views and natural lighting while also allowing California Bank & Trust to maintain the required visibility and security measures at their banking centers.

Added Value

At the early stages of each project, Hughes Marino’s project management team worked alongside the brokerage team to create preliminary schedules and budgets and review the work letter for completeness. Once the budget and schedule were approved, the Hughes Marino project management team helped California Bank & Trust solicit proposals from all potential firms, interview and select the project team members and helped ensure the design met the requirements for functionality and specifications. During construction, Hughes Marino followed the general contractor’s and landlord’s project requirements as they helped coordinate the various vendors hired by California Bank & Trust, including low voltage, furniture, special security firms and many others.

Service Provided

Hughes Marino helped during the land purchase agreement negotiations, lease and work letter negotiations as well as managed the entire design, permitting, construction and occupancy processes to ensure the projects were completed on time and under budget.
