David Marino is senior executive managing director and co-founder of Hughes Marino, a global corporate real estate advisory firm that specializes in representing tenants and buyers.
David specializes in high-value, time-critical and complex transactions for technology, life science and business service companies. He is an expert in the strategic planning, market assessment, financial analysis, business terms structuring and negotiations aspects of commercial real estate. David has been specializing in representing tenants and buyers since 1991, completing over 20,000,000 square feet, comprised of over 3,000 transactions globally. Previously, from 1989 to 1991, David was with Trammell Crow Company, then the largest commercial real estate development firm in the United States, where David learned the business from the landlord side of the table.
David authors the Hughes Marino national office and industrial market updates, and is often quoted in regional and national articles about the state of the commercial real estate industry and its trends. David has been a featured speaker at dozens of industry events, including as a guest lecturer at the graduate schools at USD, USC and the University of Washington, and is considered to be a regional thought leader on commercial real estate and corporate use of space. David has an in-depth command of the entire facility lease, purchase and disposition process, and is well versed in areas of facility planning, workplace visioning, design and construction issues.
David has been representing clients with their national and global real estate needs for over two decades. David has personally represented numerous clients nationally in the last several years with their office, warehouse, manufacturing and occasional retail requirements.
