Our April HM Mini Goal

By John Jarvis

Valiant Hughes Marino Mini Goalers,

Well done in March, we loved the photos of all of your fantastic flowers. They spread cheer to others, and doubled as a visual treat on our Instagram feed! One participant thought outside the box and brought home a bouquet of succulents! Madi brought home bright orange gerbera daisies to complement her living room decor, Star was surprised by Steven with a lovely vase of fresh flowers from their garden and I brought my daughter a bouquet for her college ‘pad’ at Berkeley.

April may be more challenging for some of us. I wonder if we remember how-then again, you never really forget-it’s just like riding a bike…because in April we’re going to…

Go on a bike ride!

Now this could mean a lot of different things for a lot of different people. A mountain bike on a single track? Or a beach cruiser on the boardwalk? Or a 100-mile century ride on a $6,000 road bike? I wonder if a spin class counts?

It’s up to you. Pump up your tires and kick up your kickstand. It’s time to ride.

Keep sending your photos to minigoals@hughesmarino.com and tag them on social media with #hmminigoals. We can’t wait to see where your bike journey takes you!

It doesn’t matter what you ride, just make sure you ride, you know… ‘cause we said we would.

I realize Mardi Gras was in February, but this seems like a good time to practice my French, so…

Laissez les bon temps rouler!
