We have some exciting news to share! This morning, Fortune Magazine released their list of best workplaces for millennials and we are honored to have made the list with other outstanding companies across the nation! We are thrilled that each and every team member feels fulfilled and excited to come into work every day. The ranking considered input from more than 434,000 employees from Great Place to Work-Certified™ companies and we are truly honored to be ranked among so many outstanding companies.
Jason and I make it a top priority to invest significant resources in the individual growth and success of our team members. Millennials make up a large portion of our team and we are proud to have such a tight-knit culture and inspiring workspaces where they can thrive!
We seek to attract and retain the nation’s top talent and our generous benefits, beautiful offices, fun team building events are some of the things that we do to show our appreciation to our truly amazing team. Recently, we hosted a summer kick-off party at each office, where everyone invited friends and family to our offices for lunch, games and a parting gift of new #hughesmarinogear!
We also have had a huge baby boom this year, so we celebrated many baby showers in our offices together. From monthly birthday celebrations, to fun Friday theme days, to inspiring team meetings and workouts, we enjoy the journey together whenever possible! It wouldn’t be uncommon to see team members engaging in a friendly competition of ping pong or belting out tunes with the rest of the team joining in! The energy in our offices is contagious and we owe it all to our wonderful team.
We know that student loans are something that affects many of our team members and we wanted to find a way to help those with loans from higher education. Jason and I introduced a new benefit to our team members this year and are contributing monthly to those who have student loans and the feedback and support has been incredible! We believe that if we invest and nurture our team, then they will give right back to our clients and company.
