Summer is in full swing, and so is our 2024 HM Mini Goal Program. Our June goal was to take a walk without your phone, and you jumped at the opportunity! We loved hearing about the little adventures everyone took, as a nice break away from technology.
Our July HM Mini Goal is a fun one, destined for summertime adventures and memories. It’s time to hit the open road, and take a road trip!
The road trip is a timeless tradition—with the added modern benefit of GPS and Bluetooth connections, of course. Go for a long excursion or keep it short and spontaneous, just be sure to hit the road, you know, because we said we would. Extra credit if you curate a special playlist for your trip. Is it just us, or do some of our best conversations come up in the context of a long car ride, where we build cherished memories with our fellow travelers—discover hidden gems along the way that remind us to appreciate the varied landscapes across this country? Maybe stop and explore the shoreline, a shady picnic spot, take in an outdoor concert or neighborhood arts event.
As we all know, it’s not about the destination, but rather the journey on the way there. So why not put on your favorite HM Enjoy the Journey t-shirt (if you need a new one, let us know!), capture some memories of your trip with plenty of photos, tag #hmminigoals on your social media channels and email your photos to minigoals@hughesmarino.com. We can’t wait to hear about your adventure this month!
