To the Hughes Marino extended family of mini-goalers and word-keepers,
Thanks for sharing all the beautiful images of your sunset gatherings with friends and family across the country. There is something important about pausing amidst our busy lives to look west at close of day and admire the moment. It is such a simple thing. And in our case, it was doubly so because, you know, we said we would.
Sara and I watched the sunset at Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming and Laura Wood and her pup, Peanut, took in the beauty at Alki Beach in Seattle. Our San Diego OpStars Tara Tuls, Kelsey Prendergast, Stacy Bates and Chloe Christensen accomplished the mini goal together at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego. Our friend Angela watched the sunset in Fullerton at Mountain View Park with two longtime friends.
You know what else we said we would do?
Go to a live music show!
It is just me, or is this like the best goal program in the world? This is what we have to do? Are you serious? OK, I’m in!
Going to see a performance of live music, whether in a courtyard or a coliseum, is always a great idea, and we walk away saying, “we need to do this more often,” right?
So let’s go! Mozart? Metallica? Maroon 5? Rock on!
As always, send us your photos to minigoals@hughesmarino.com, and tag your Instagram photos with #hmminigoals. Maybe this month we can include short videos to share the audio experience!
Your friends and family may not believe it, but yes, this is how we grow.
