It was with great joy that we learned recently that Hughes Marino had yet again been named a top ten Best Place to Work – in two different locations! We were honored to clinch the #7 spot on San Diego Business Journal’s list (the fourth year we’ve placed in the small companies category), along with the #3 spot from the Orange County Business Journal. As COO of this amazing company, I am immensely proud of the team we have built and the culture that binds us, and it is an honor to see it be recognized by the community.
Anyone who has worked with Hughes Marino knows that a big part of the culture we have cultivated can be largely attributed to our ten core values. Conceived by our original team of 14 people back in 2011, they represent the things we hold most dear as individuals, as a company, and as a family. It’s these core values that guide everything we do as a company, and allow us to scout the best and brightest team members who hold the same standards.
This award, and our success, could never have happened without our incredible team members who continue to wow us every day by delivering excellence in everything they do. Each individual contributes such great ideas, character, and warmth to the company, and they are the reason why Hughes Marino remains a great place to work, year after year.
