Mekae Hyde is a vice president at HM Science, a specialized division of Hughes Marino, a global corporate real estate advisory firm that exclusively represents tenants and buyers. Based out of Hughes Marino’s Boston office, Mekae specializes in assisting life science, cleantech and technology companies with their real estate needs. With his results-driven and team-oriented approach, he helps his clients achieve optimal lease and purchase transactions for their businesses.
His experience within the life science and cleantech industries provides his clients with unique insight, bridging the gap between commercial real estate and the intricate specifications that the industries require for their organizations. Prior to joining Hughes Marino, Mekae gained extensive experience within the commercial real estate industry, focusing on the life science and cleantech industries as a life science advisor with Bridge CRE and Perry CRE in Boston. Prior to his roles in commercial real estate, he worked in the technology sector at a cloud security platform company. With his variety of prior experience in the technology, cleantech and life science fields, Mekae provides his clients with well-rounded advice and strategic guidance surrounding their real estate goals.
Mekae graduated from Bates College with a bachelor’s degree in politics, where he was elected a student athlete team leader while on the baseball team. Mekae grew up in Maine, and has resided in the Boston area for over six years, most currently in Somerville. In his free time, Mekae enjoys spending time with his family and friends, traveling, hiking and trying new restaurants.
