Description
This project consisted of the design and construction of 1 ¼ floors of high-end improvements in a high-rise building. Approximately 75% of the space is made up of conference centers, including a mock courtroom, the JAMS café (client facing amenity space), and multiple reconfigurable meeting rooms for arbitration and mediation. This area also includes terrazzo floors, millwork-grade wood ceilings, a custom built-in water feature, and extensive banquette seating within the office’s several coffee bars. This project represents the 9th time Hughes Marino Program, Project & Construction Management has successfully partnered with JAMS to help build their spaces around the country.
Added Value
Hughes Marino served as the day-to-day interface with the landlord, contractor and design team for this national client. We were integral in identifying a total of $75,000 in savings without impacting design intent. We also worked to find alternate finishes that accommodated the client’s strict time constraints, resulting in a project completed on-time and under budget.
Service Provided
Hughes Marino provided complete project management services including design coordination, permitting, bidding and construction activity management.
