Description
The project consisted of the design, permitting, bidding and final construction of Digitaria’s high-end office tenant improvement. This full floor project was a remodel of existing space and had a minimal TI budget. The emphasis was on adding in some earthy, rustic elements to make the space feel less like a high-rise office. Wood and iron finishes were added throughout and perimeter offices were removed to allow light into the collaborative interior spaces.
Added Value
Hughes Marino played a key part in completing the project on budget. We explored several options to arrive at the most cost effective reuse of as many existing elements as possible in spite of heavy demolition and rework needed. We were also instrumental in the negotiations for Digitaria to purchase the full floor of furniture left behind by the previous tenant, keep what they wanted to reuse and liquidate the remaining inventory all at a net zero cost to the client. This saved Digitaria over $100,000 in FF&E costs while getting them state of the art furnishings.
