Welcome to our chic home away from home in East Bay! Our cozy office is located right in the heart of Oakland’s waterfront, with picturesque, panoramic views of Alameda Island. Our East Bay office has all of the comforts of home, with a little touch of glam! We make sure all of our spaces are as warm and welcoming as possible, and our office in East Bay is no exception! Our reception area features a cozy living room, decorated with chic Audrey Hepburn photography by Douglas Kirkland, plush, comfy couches, soft blankets and playful coffee table books,
and our family photo slideshow that showcases thousands of our teams’ family photos. Our space also features a game room, complete with a designer foosball table, ready for fun, friendly rounds of competition (which even our clients partake in!). No Hughes Marino office would be complete without our family photo wall, which is also proudly on beautiful display in our kitchen area along with a fun, oversized donut art installation by Gary Polansky, and fun scenes of Barbie art that line the walls and add even more of a playful vibe to the office!
Our team members spend as much time in our office as they may in their own homes, and we want them to feel happy and inspired when they are at work.

It’s in the Details
One of the first things you will notice about our office is the vibrant collection of art, including several works by artists also featured at our other locations. Our collection includes pieces by Gary Polonsky, Ryan Jones, James Wolanin, and custom furniture by Rachel Ashwell. Creative gallery walls can be found at every turn, designed to inspire and whimsy to the walls! Each of our Hughes Marino offices are known for having their own distinctive vibe, with consistent elements that tie each together, and the design and art selection of our beautiful spaces has always been a top priority for Shay and Jason Hughes, as they know how critical a beautiful and inspiring workplace can have on its team members and culture!
We craft all of our offices with amenities and signature residential design elements that invoke an engaging, stimulating and collaborative environment where our team feels right at home. We have a very familial culture, so ensuring our offices feel like a home away from home for our amazing teammates, clients and the communities we serve is one of our highest priorities.
