LOS ANGELES, CA – Hughes Marino, an industry-leading California tenant representation company, is pleased to announce that David Callahan has joined the firm as Senior Vice President. Callahan, previously with Avison Young, will be based in Hughes Marino’s newly expanded West LA office, and will serve as a key member of the firm’s rapidly growing Los Angeles team.
As Senior Vice President, Callahan will focus on representing Los Angeles business owners and corporate real estate decision makers in the entertainment, technology and healthcare industries. He specializes in helping corporate tenants and buyers develop real estate strategies aligned with their business objectives, taking advantage of existing market conditions to give clients maximum flexibility and help them plan for the future.
Callahan is also president of the Southern California chapter of CoreNet Global, the world’s leading association for corporate real estate professionals. His involvement with CoreNet gives him exceptional insight into local market trends and industry best practices, which he leverages for the benefit of his clients throughout the region.
“It was my passion for tenant representation that drew me to Hughes Marino. I was attracted to the culture here, and the extreme care that is taken in hiring people who are cultural fits,” Callahan explained. “Everyone at Hughes Marino is a team player, and with the support of this all-star team I can better serve my clients’ needs at every stage of the game.”
Prior to joining Hughes Marino, Callahan spent the majority of his real estate career with Cresa Los Angeles. He has also held management positions with Oracle and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals (now Pfizer).
Callahan earned his MBA at USC’s Marshall School of Business, and his bachelor’s degree at Tufts. He is an active member of the Tufts University Alumni Association, and is a U.S. Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional.
