The 46,000-square-foot space provides CellNetix team members the most technologically advanced laboratory resources, including optimized work stations for histology and grossing, and a cutting-edge molecular lab with next generation sequencing capabilities. “This facility empowers us as we continue to deliver on our mission of ‘excellence in patient care—every diagnosis, every day,’ now and well into the future,” Fondren says.
Located in Downtown Seattle, the CellNetix executive team approached Hughes Marino professionals, Owen Rice and Gavin Curtis to assess the market landscape and discover an alternative locale. “The leadership group felt the time was right to find a new home,” says Rice. “After recent years of rapid growth, their current environment no longer met rising demands or provided the competitive position that is so important to the growth of the business.”
Enter Tukwila, a flourishing business community 10 miles south of the Emerald City. “We found a terrific location, which offered CellNetix everything they were looking for,” says Curtis. “The Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is three miles away, allowing ease and flexibility for market access, and the facility design, as created by SABArchitects, is second-to-none.”
