Spaces We Love: Onefootball’s Berlin HQ

It’s not every day that you see an AstroTurf track lining the halls of an office, but that’s the first thing you’ll notice when visiting Onefootball’s new headquarters in Berlin. (That’s football in the European sense – otherwise known as soccer to those of us in the U.S.) Given that Onefootball is “the best mobile football platform for fans around the world,” it’s only fitting that their space reflects the enthusiasm of the sporting world, in conjunction with clean lines and modern finishes fitting for a tech company.

Their 15,000 square foot space was built out of an old factory in Berlin – and it retains some of the original industrial elements such as exposed concrete beams and high, warehouse-height ceilings.

Floor-to-ceiling glass offices are a great way to allow for privacy while staying consistent with the company’s open floor plan. To help absorb sound, Onefootball installed sound “clouds” suspended from the ceiling, as seen below.

In Onefootball’s break room, there are two foosball games (could that be any more fitting?) – and soccer-themed paraphernalia adorning the walls. It’s fun accents like these that really showcase a company’s branding and personality in a space, adding color and energy to what would otherwise be a plain, white and gray kitchen.

Onefootball did a fantastic job making its space simple, classy, vibrant, and fun – all in one. The mix of the white walls, brushed concrete accents, and sports-themed décor are genius – and any visitor to the space would know almost immediately what Onefootball is all about.
