Ryan McCrary, Hughes Marino General Counsel and Vice President, Nominated for Power of Attorneys 2012

Ryan McCrary, General Counsel and Vice President at Hughes Marino, has been nominated for the Power of Attorneys 2012 by the San Diego Daily Transcript, honoring San Diego’s top Corporate Counsel.

Ryan is responsible for the legal affairs of the company as well as tenant representation. A native San Diegan, Ryan has an extensive background in commercial leasing, construction and real estate transactions. He is a member of the State bar of California, the Association of Corporate Counsel, the San Diego County Bar Association, and the Real Estate Law Section of the SDCBA as well as being a licensed California Real Estate Broker. Prior to joining Hughes Marino, Ryan was in private practice, focusing on real estate transactional law.

Before practicing law, Ryan worked in both the real estate and construction industries. He owned and operated a real estate brokerage office in San Diego, and worked as a project engineer for the commercial general contractor Nielsen Dillingham. As an engineer, he oversaw construction on CCDC’s downtown parking garage “Park-it-on-Market”, SDSU’s Athletic Administration Building and Hall of Fame, the luxury high-rise condominium Park Laurel, and numerous tenant improvement and tilt-up construction projects.

Ryan holds a Master of Law (L.L.M.) in Real Property Development from the University of Miami, and obtained his law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering Technology from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. He is also a LEED for New Construction Accredited Professional. 


Ryan, his wife Dana, and their three daughters live in the Del Sur community.
