About

Jared Aquino is a project manager at Hughes Marino, a global corporate real estate advisory firm specializing in tenant representation and project management. Jared brings extensive construction and project management experience to the Hughes Marino’s Program, Project and Construction Management team, and strives to ensure his clients are satisfied and well-informed throughout the entire management process.

Since joining the Hughes Marino team, Jared’s projects have spanned across various sectors and include standard office Tenant Improvements, specialty lab Tenant Improvements and campus master planning. He has been involved in numerous projects in various stages of their project lifecycle, including space planning, construction and closeout. Some projects include: 20K SF of office/lab upgrades for Cue Health; 37K SF of interiors for Seacrest Village; 118K SF as co-PM of a manufacturing, lab and office facility for Quidel (now known as QuidelOrtho), and 54K SF as co-PM for Seegene USA. Jared’s extensive skillset includes project cost control, accounting and closeout, all while prioritizing exceptional client experience.

Prior to his work with Hughes Marino, Jared began his career working for Hensel Phelps, a nationwide commercial general contractor. Jared then became an owner’s representative for a leading healthcare system in the greater San Diego area, where he provided construction management services for a hospital campus serving San Diego’s East County community. Now as a project manager at Hughes Marino, Jared has found great fulfillment in being able to utilize his past experience and knowledge to advise clients on solutions to their project management and construction needs.

In his free time, Jared enjoys training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, traveling and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
