About

Kristin Christensen is interior design director at Hughes Marino, a global corporate real estate advisory firm that exclusively represents tenants and buyers. Kristin co-leads the company’s Planning & Design service, where she has the unique and rewarding opportunity to help businesses thrive on multiple levels. As interior design director, Kristin utilizes her extensive experience in interior design to help businesses cultivate a fresh and innovative perspective on how to enhance their company culture and morale by transforming their space into an environment that inspires and invigorates team members.

A graduate of University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Kristin received her Bachelor of Science degree in interior design from their fully accredited College of Architecture. After graduating, Kristin moved to Denver where she worked in residential interior design and then relocated to San Diego to broaden her career in commercial design.

Prior to joining Hughes Marino, Kristin spent seven years as a designer and office furniture specialist at one of the largest Herman Miller furniture dealers, completing projects in a wide variety of industries, including corporate office, hospitality, education and government. It was there she had the opportunity to work closely with the Hughes Marino team, where she assisted in the design of all the Geiger and Herman Miller furniture for several Hughes Marino offices. From this experience, Kristin gained unique insight into the highly detail-oriented and nationally award-winning Hughes Marino mindset of office design and company culture, and she is eager to help other companies achieve the same outstanding results!

Kristin enjoys spending time with her husband, Richard, their son, Leo, and daughter, Reese. Aside from her passion of design and architecture, Kristin loves traveling, photography, music, DIY home renovation projects, outdoor activities and spending quality time with family and friends.
