How to Bring Your Team Back to the Office – Our Return to Work Survey is a Perfect Tool for Businesses

By Shay Hughes

With each new day, vaccinations are on the rise, case counts are declining and businesses are returning to the office. Companies across the country and around the world are contemplating their return to the workplace strategy, and we are here to help. Our Planning + Design team developed an in-depth and thoughtful Return to Work Survey to help make the transition back to the workplace smoother.

One of the most critical things to making the transition back to the office a success is to have an accurate pulse on your team. From their thoughts on working from home and their WFH setups, communication within the company, training and equipment capabilities, implementing sanitation policies, and excitement or hesitancies about returning to work, we encourage our clients to continue to gauge their team’s comfort level back in the office to determine where policies should be reinforced, and also where they can be relaxed. By providing a survey and taking action based on your team’s suggestions, you can put your team members more at ease, offer alternative solutions and most of all, make them feel valued knowing that their opinions matter.

Below is an interactive survey PDF that our Planning + Design team has developed after a year of studying and understanding the best practices of physical distancing, as well as helping hundreds of clients navigate this new reality. Feel free to use it as is or modify it for your organization’s particular needs. We truly hope this helps you and your team have a smooth transition back to the workplace, and we welcome any feedback you may have!
