A Unique Evening with Giovanni Marradi at Hughes Marino

At Hughes Marino, we know that our core values are spot-on in guiding us both professionally and personally. For example, HM core value #5 – build lasting relationships based on trust – led us to enjoy a really inspiring evening earlier this month, when we were able to open our doors to renowned pianist Giovanni Marradi.

As an international composer, arranger and one of the most successful expressionist pianists of the 21st century, Giovanni has recorded more than 140 CDs, which have sold over six million copies. He began his career in the U.S. playing live for more than ten years at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, where he struck up a friendship with Frank Sinatra that would last until the legend’s death. Based now in Orange County, Giovanni has been nominated for and received several awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, The Telly Awards, EMA and The New York Music Festival.

Indeed it was through one of my professional relationships, that I was able to provide Giovanni and his business partners with a venue for showcasing a new product he is launching. With a grand piano in our San Diego headquarters, our office provided the perfect backdrop for Giovanni to demonstrate his jaw dropping talents, while presenting to a group of investors.

We are so fortunate that our work puts us in the unique position of being able to meet people of all professions, with talents as diverse as the Pacific Ocean is deep. Through the relationships we work hard to build and then spend time nurturing, we’re often presented with amazing opportunities to be able to participate in some truly special events.

It just serves to remind me that, although we’re technically in the business of commercial real estate, our hearts are in the business of helping people wherever we can.
