Steven Gorup is executive vice president at Hughes Marino, a global corporate real estate advisory firm that specializes in representing tenants and buyers. Steven leads several key divisions at Hughes Marino, including Program, Project and Construction Management, Portfolio Lease Administration & Advisory, Planning + Design, Information Technology and Facilities. He works closely with each team to ensure the highest level of service possible to both our clients and team members alike.
Previously a senior vice president of Hughes Marino’s Program, Project and Construction Management team, Steven has extensive knowledge and experience in managing some of the most complicated construction and design projects. His expertise lies in managing a large team of consultants, contract administration, understanding design documents, project scheduling, estimating, bidding, and understanding and resolving field issues. Steven applies his project management expertise to his day-to-day roles in each of the divisions he leads today.
Steven is a LEED Accredited Professional for Building Design and Construction, which is essential for green-building technology implementation. He also holds the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate, a strategy designed to improve quality while simultaneously eliminating cost and administrative excess.
Steven earned a degree in construction science and management from Kansas State University. He enjoys hiking, running and traveling with his wife, Star, in his free time.
