Technology learning giant, Pluralsight, has an amazing new office at Symphony Towers in Downtown San Diego, clad with open ceilings, hardwood floors, and a light, bright and airy atmosphere throughout. The space is top of the line, modern, and very creative – perfectly fitting for a high-growth tech company that empowers enterprise technology teams to keep up with the pace of technological change and deliver key innovations on time, on budget, and securely.
Immediately upon entering the suite, visitors are greeted by a watermelon red wall which is a gradient of Pluralsight Orange and Pluralsight Magenta. Orange radiates optimism, warmth, and happiness, combining the physical energy and stimulation of red with the cheerfulness of yellow. Orange relates to openness and two-way conversation. Magenta, as a color, is an instrument of change and transformation. It influences their personal development and it helps the team experience a greater level of awareness and knowledge. The colorful entrance is well paired with bright white open ceilings and a comfortable seating area embellished with wall murals, throw pillows, and uplifting colors.
The space is mostly made up of benching stations, with offices located along the interior of the building, preserving natural light along the exterior for the bulk of the team to enjoy. Small, cozy collaboration areas dot the space, providing employees with options to break out in small groups, or have a change in scenery from their desks! The open seating is conducive to working collaboratively especially because many of their workstations are used as paired programming and mobbing stations, which is still unique in their industry.
The kitchen is sleek and residential, with floating shelves, light wood cabinets, and a high-top island for the team to enjoy over lunch. The bright colors, use of glass, and inspirational messages adorning the space (both on the walls and on pillows!) make this space an incredible environment for the Pluralsight team, and we couldn’t be happier for them!
