Griffin is an alumnus of the University of Colorado Boulder, where he played Division 1 football for the Buffs. Prior to his time on the field, Griffin was an accomplished professional hockey player in the East Coast Hockey League and Western Hockey League. Griffin resides in Orange County, with his wife, Caroline, and dog, Gus. Griffin has a passion for many outdoor pursuits, including skiing, golfing and running.
