Collin Weisenburger is a project manager for Hughes Marino, an award-winning commercial real estate firm specializing in tenant representation and program, project and construction management.

During his career at Hughes Marino, Collin has gained diverse experience with a vast spectrum of clients. In the biotech and life science realm, Collin has completed facilities for IDEX Health & Science, 15,000 SF; and Vividion Therapeutics’ new facility in Sorrento Valley. Notable corporate office clients include First Associates Loan Servicing, 25,000 SF; and the Center for Sustainable Energy, 29,000 SF.

Most recently, Collin has been working with both Brain Corporation, 60,000 SF; and Fluidra, 95,000 SF, on their new San Diego Facilities, as well as a ground up Medical Office Building in Chula Vista, CA.

Prior to joining Hughes Marino, Collin began his career within the construction industry as a general contractor. Some of his most notable projects include a 45,000 SF tenant improvement space for GoPro; a re-skin, new site improvements and parking deck at the 40,000 SF Nautilus Campus; a 23,000 SF tenant improvement project including open office, lab space and vivarium for the Astellas Research Institute of America; and a 17,500 SF lab/office space for Vividion Therapeutics. Collin has also been a key contributor to The Scripps Research Institute–Lab Renovations. This ongoing project exceeded $2.5 million in value and showcased multiple lab renovations ranging from 2,000 SF to 7,500 SF. Collin worked on the construction of the BioLegend Headquarters Campus–Phase II, which includes a seven-story, 700-stall parking garage, 200,000 SF of building construction including biotech lab space, order fulfillment processing facility and 250,000 SF of site improvements.

In his free time, Collin enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoys going to the beach, being on the golf course and racing off-road motorcycles in the desert.
