Spaces We Love: Lululemon’s Vancouver Headquarters

There are few brands that I love as much as I love Lululemon. I would wear it all day, every day, if I could get away with it. I am still waiting for the high-end athletic wear retailer to put out a “professional” wear-to-work line. A girl can dream!

Aside from being a great company with amazing and stylish products, Lululemon also has an incredible office in Vancouver, Canada. It’s exactly how I would envision the active wear giant’s headquarters to look – characterized by clean lines, natural elements, and warm tones.

You would never know that the 24,000 square foot space used to be a Coca-Cola bottling plant. Today, it is marked by light, wood-grained Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) flooring matched with dark, textured carpet and wood accent finishes. The hard lid ceiling dotted with can lights matches the shape of the LVT floors to create a natural, dramatic entrance, guiding visitors to the front desk.

A glass and metal staircase is a fitness-friendly connector between the building’s multiple floors, and allows for easy access and communication between departments. The multi-story living wall adds fresh greenery (which is proven to increase productivity and happiness), and also serves as artwork, injecting color, texture and depth into the space. The “bones” of this building are phenomenal, with the arched windows serving as skylights to flood the space with natural light.

The private meeting rooms are comfortable and cozy, decorated with residential couches, floor lamps, and exercise-themed artwork.

This Lululemon conference room is sophisticated and sleek with its white walls, dark, glass-embedded sliding doors, and red logo sculpture on the wall. While sliding doors like these are not great for acoustics, they are gorgeous and make for a polished, artistic look.

Of course, the Lululemon corporate offices would not be complete without a serene, relaxing yoga room! Namaste, Lululemon, and congratulations on an office well done!
