The project is a 16,000 square foot ground-up project consisting of building shell construction, site work, a new parking lot and tenant improvements, including 8,000 square feet of classroom space and 8,000 square feet of office space. The project, which is next to an existing ARC building, includes a water feature and courtyards.

Added Value

Hughes Marino Construction Management (CM) was instrumental with the identification of over $200,000 of value engineering ideas. A VE session was facilitated by Hughes Marino CM, which included the owner, architect and contractor. The VE savings represented alternate methods and materials, but did not compromise the architectural integrity of the project.

Service Provided

Hughes Marino CM provided construction management services, which includes pre-construction, GMP review and negotiations, value engineering and construction phase services.
