We are pleased to welcome Alex Musetti as the newest member of Southern California’s leading tenant representation team. As vice president, Alex will be based in Hughes Marino’s Irvine office, where he will continue to represent corporate tenants and buyers throughout Orange County. Prior to joining Hughes Marino, Alex began his career at Grubb & Ellis before becoming a senior tenant advisor at Cresa.

A California native and current Newport Beach resident, Alex holds an MBA with an emphasis in finance from Loyola Marymount University. Alex will utilize his expertise in lease negotiations, site selection analysis, investment acquisitions, financial modeling and portfolio management to serve all of his clients’ commercial real estate needs.

According to Alex, it is the culture at Hughes Marino that led him to join the team. “It is incredibly rare in this industry to find a culture of support and teamwork that is anything like that at Hughes Marino. There is an energetic, supportive feeling across the board, which I’m really excited to be a part of,” Alex says. As vice president, Alex will work with the Hughes Marino team to represent tenants across a spectrum of industries, ranging from large, multi-national corporations to local tech startups.

When he’s not working with clients, Alex devotes a great deal of his time to the Loyola Marymount Alumni Association. Having previously served as the executive VP of finance for the LMU MBA Student Association Board, Alex says, “It is very important to me to stay in touch with my fellow graduates. I have great relationships through student associations, so I focus on keeping those relationships strong.”

Alex is also close with his family, and enjoys spending time with his parents and sisters, where cooking is always a family focus. He enjoys scuba diving, fishing, and nights out dancing with his girlfriend, Michelle. Alex graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California, cum laude, with a B.S. in economics.
