At Hughes Marino our team meetings are always pretty special, but today’s was truly memorable. We held our first ever Hughes Marino Core Values Contest, where we challenged our team members to come up with creative interpretations of our ten core values. The grand prize for the most creative presentation was $1,000, and boy did we have some amazing contenders! We saw everything from visual art to live performance — even a piece of handmade furniture! I was blown away by the creativity of our team.
I’m not going to spoil the surprise about who won — I want to follow up with another post next week with photos of the many beautiful, funny, and incredibly entertaining projects that were submitted. But in the meantime, please take a minute to enjoy this video created by Anna Schwartz and Bailey Hughes — two of the youngest and most creative members of the HM team — which captures our core values perfectly (and definitely earned them an honorable mention!) These ten values are so special to our company that they bear repeating again and again, and it’s our pleasure to share them with you.
