Chad Blenz is an associate in Hughes Marino’s Seattle office, where he works with local and national companies, offering knowledgeable corporate real estate strategy. A Seattle native, Chad understands that the Seattle market is unique and is always working to better understand this ever-changing and fast-paced market. Chad’s focus is on representing tenants through lease renewals and space acquisitions and he is always aware of the dynamic and changing needs of growing companies across all industries to further develop his own skills and improve the services he provides.
Chad received his Washington state broker’s license when he was just a sophomore at the University of San Diego and has had the unique opportunity of gaining an in-depth knowledge with real estate strategies and negotiations through his experience working in vibrant cities such as Los Angeles, San Diego and Seattle. Chad has handled a number of transactions in the Southern California and Seattle markets, dealing with lease renewals and several space acquisition projects.
Chad’s passion for commercial real estate began early, developing alongside an understanding for the inherent conflict of interest associated with dual agency. As he sees it, dual agency is an unavoidable reality within the industry, as brokers claim the capability to equally represent both the landlord and the tenant at the highest level possible. This conflict remains persistent in the industry and that is why he is especially proud to be a part of the team at Hughes Marino, the largest tenant-rep commercial real estate firm on the West Coast, where his sole focus is representing tenants in the Pacific Northwest with utmost dedication.
Chad resides in Seattle and enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, skiing, and staying active through exploring the outdoors.
